It’s my 7th year of container gardening and the two most problematic issues I have are wind and rodents (rats and mice). Seedlings rarely have a chance to mature when they’ve been devoured overnight.
This year I tried lining the netting only outside the rim of my pots so rodents would hopefully get stuck and tangled by just trying to climb into a pot. I took my chance to leave the top alone to allow the plant to grow. Finally it worked! This is the first time I was able to harvest potatoes from this method. You can buy the Garden Netting from Amazon or Ebay at affordable prices.
