Crocker Amazon Park

I’ve lived in my neighbor for years and never went to this park because I heard it wasn’t safe. In fact a few years ago, I heard a lady got raped while jogging there. It never caught my interest, but since I’ve been unemployed as I type this post, I’ve been going on long power walks exploring different directions from my home. I’ve discovered beautiful homes, met new neighbors, and discovered new routes to parks that turned out to be local gems. This is one of those gems. Visitors are predominately Asian seniors, but on the weekends is full of youth of all ages and its bustling with all kinds of sports – depending on the season. It’s clean, orderly, and we felt safe as I shot this video. I’m so glad I scratched the urge to explore! This park actually connects to McClaren park, which is a state park for a super power walk, but that’s a separate video.

The little guy in the video is Bently my little boy. It’s eight right now and always ready to get on with it.
