Container Grown Rosemary

Visiting the garden center, I asked an associate what he was doing. He showed me some rosemary cuttings and offered to give me some to take home and propagate them. I did not know what that was. After a brief lesson, I went home, put them in water until the cuttings grew roots. After reading some articles online, many said rosemary doesn’t do well in containers. Well, not true!

I planted the cuttings 7/8/2020 in the custom box my dad built me. The after photo was taken 5/2/2024. They only thing I have issues with are white flies. To combat them, I place fresh Marigold flower heads in between the bush. I’ve harvest enough rosemary to give away and many dishes and tea.
