After adding Lime to some of plants and watching them flourish, I assumed all my containers needed calcium (lime), so I added it to my squash and my fig. They did not accept it.
Anyway, here are the lessons:
1. Squash does NOT like too much calcium. The ideal Ph should be 6.0 – 6.8

2. Fig – This was actually a gift from my former pastor who I had a falling out with about a year ago. After he left the church over financial matters, I had to follow my convictions to remain loyal to my church where I’m an official member of. He was too and he even baptized me there, which is profoundly disappointing. My spirit was uneasy when I attended his virtual Bible study and it culminated into a an explosive argument via Zoom. During that argument, he asked the whole virtual class if they wanted to study spiritual warfare, which was a subject I felt was necessary to equip all the saints. They unanimously yelled “No!” It was at that moment I decided to cut ties forever as they wanted to remain stagnant in the same Bible studies repeatedly. I on the other hand needed to move on and be edified in other Biblical subjects. After I block him and cut off all ties, he showed up unannounced to my home with this plant a few weeks ago. I did my best to transplant it, nourish it, but here it is. I don’t regret my decision, but the lesson is, don’t add too much lime to fig plants.
