Did you know that to be a Jewish rabbi, the prospective student must seek a rabbi and practically beg to follow that leader for a period of their life to become just like their rabbi? The rabbi or a professor NEVER seeks out their proteges. On the other hand, I never understood why the disciples dropped their careers and lives on the spot to follow Jesus especially when they never knew him. That made no sense to me, but I figured one day I would understand.
I was inspired to make this video while I was serving behind the scenes at church last Sunday when Pastor Jordan Kan preached it. I must say I’m so blessed to have this new pastor part of my church. His content is so spiritual nourishing with Biblical wisdom by thy way he articulates it.
